92-94 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
“Mingling aromas of sweet wild berries with rich bass notes of forest floor, spice and grilled squab, the 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers is medium to full-bodied, broad and concentrated, with rich structuring tannins, comparatively low acidity and a long, sapid finish. (WK) ” (1/2020)
90-93 points Allen Meadows – Burghound
“This is very Gevrey in character with plenty of sauvage, freshly turned earth, forest floor and brooding wild dark berry and cassis scents. There is fine richness to the concentrated, powerful and full-bodied flavors that exhibit a subtle minerality on the moderately austere and impressively long and slightly grippy finale. ” (1/2020)
94-96 points Jasper Morris for Inside Burgundy:
“Fine glowing crimson purple with a really well-balanced nose, was delicate when just Faiveley but the Dupont sector brought more clay and more weight. It is certainly ripe but it is also totally in balance, giving a pure and concentrated deep red fruit with some spices round the edge, and as always for this vineyard that mineral feel at the finish.” (10/2019)
